Depreciation Run

i am facing problem when depreciation run system is showing test run was successfull but values are not flowing

can any body help me out to

what are things i need to do before running depreciation run

i poted f-90 purchase of asset

Hi,

tip: check the Asset Explorer, in detail the posted values tab. There you find a periode depreciation simulation of the asset for the selected fiscal year. In there you can see in which period the depreciation run would pick the asset up. If you don´t see depreciation there, maybe because planned depreciation amount is zero in the fiscal year, you should check your depreciation key.

when i was executed i am getting following message

Hi,

When you run a test run it will not create postings.

You have to run it as a not test run in the background.

The normal steps are:

Do a test run with error analyse in the background

Look in the spool if there are problems

solve probelems when theay are there (like cost senter is blocked)

Do a real run in the background THIS CREATE THE POSTINGS

Look in the log (AFBP - Display Log) if there are errors.

are you sure there has depreciation to be posted for your specified period?
