Our plant is located in North America and when we purchase material from China, the condition is often FOB Shangai. (we take respoonsibility of the inventory at this point)
On the PO we want the delivery date for the vendor at Shangai port. The transit time is 6 weeks. In our MRp we want to see the availability date for the material = (vendort delivery date + transit time).
- We are using vendor evaluation process so the goods receipt date has to be the one in Shangai...
When the good receipt is done, the inventory is not yet in our plant and we dont want to see it as if it's available...
What is the possible processes/solutions using standard R/3; ecc 5.0?
Is the inboud delivery process would do the job?
