While executing the Maintenance Order,

is it possible at Components Tab for default existing of Item Category 'L'

you have option to ,ake default item category against the materila type and plant.

follow the path to make default values

Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Maintenance and Service Processing>Maintenance and Service Orders>General Data>Define Default Values for Component Item Categories-->New entries

You can set a default based on the material type and plant. Customizing path is as follows:

I tried this already and set up the the Material type ERSA, relevant plant and Item Category 'L'. But still when I execute the order there is default existing of item category 'L' in the component tab of Maintenance Order.

I am expecting a solution

what is your exact requirement, whether you want the default item category there. as per your first question that is the setting,

then whet else you are expecting pl elaborate.

Hi,

Based on your customizing -

When you enter a component of material type ERSA into a order with relevant plant the item category should default to L. The default is not set until you enter a component and press enter.

If the item category is already filled then the customizing default will not overwrite that entry.
