Only Display Role for (User-System-Content) Administrator Roles

Hi Gurus

I have requiremet in the EP7.0 . As some of my developers need to Read-Only(Display) the roles, but they cannot edit or cannot change the fields or anything but they can see all ....

in portal is it possible?

please let me know exact scenario

Hello BALAJI,

Yes it is possible, you can assign/given read only permission to roles

You can follow the steps to give read only permission.

Go Role -> Display on right hand side Select Permission there

in dropdown select Read option. save it.

i think this will solve your purpose.

Hi

I have copied one user admin role in to test folder. Then i changed that role name to user_admin_Display

then i right click that role and change the permissions to readonly for everyone.... ..I already deleted adinistrator Group to that user..still by having that role..user can able to change his/other users data

any mistake i did?
