Dears,
I want to configure router on my ECC5 server whose IP is suppose <xyz>.
We already have router installed on our netweaver server IP is suppose <abc>.
Now Please tell what steps i need to do to configure router on xyz, should I have to follow all steps that i used on abc like import of certificate and all or just I need to enter details in OSS1 of xyz.
Please suggest.
Shivam
HI,
Define your system in service market place and ensure that your n/w system is able to connect to oss, if so copy the rfc message server details and paste it in the rfc details of your ECC 5.0 server. This will work without any issues.

As suggested by Kaushal, also added following lines in saprouttab on netweaver.
KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 172.168.1.4 3201
KP "p:CN=sapserv2, OU=SAProuter, O=SAP, C=DE" 172.168.1.4 3200
But same issue.
Should i have to create saprouttab file on ECC5 also or any parameter that i have to set.
Please suggest.

Shivam, you are unable to perform a test connect to OSS RFC is because your IP address is being blocked by your local firewall. Work with your n/w admin and check out whether he has added any rule in your hardware firewall, bcoz we faced same kind of issue. There is no need to create a routtab in ecc 5.0.
P.S ensure that ECC 5.0 and Netweaver are in a same network.

Balakrishnan
Hi SAPers,
I'm facing the same issue and I have added the lines in my routetab entries but still the same problem
when I hit OSS1 T-code it is asking me to select from PUBLIC,DO_NOT_USE, EWA ETC I have choosen EWA and tried
same problem, I tried with all options but no use,
One doubt in OSS1 t-code tech settings at the bottom what should be selected CURRENT OR ALTERNATIVE?
Option Current---> C:\Program Files\SAP\FrontEnd\sapgui\SAPGUI.EXE says this path do my router system
SAPGui should be installed?
Please suggest...
Thanks In Advance
HariKrishna
