Error While deploying Application ?

Hi @,

When Deploying Web Dynpro Application I am getting following error on PI server I have PISUPER auth:

Reason: , An error occurred during the deployer retrieval. Cause =[ERROR CODE DPL.DC.3151] The user PISUPER could not be authorized, because doesn't own the (com.sap.engine.interfaces.security.ServiceAccessPermission dc) permission for deploy controller.

at com.sap.ide.eclipse.deployer.dc.ComponentManagerImpl.getDeployProcessor(ComponentManagerImpl.java:62)

at com.sap.ide.eclipse.sdm.threading.DCDeployThread.run(DCDeployThread.java:118)

Caused by: com.sap.engine.services.dc.api.deploy.DeployException: AuthorizationException.

Please suggest what is wrong or any other auth my user should have?

Hi,

What is the version of your server?

And what are you using for deployment SDM or JSPM?

As per your error, i think you are using JSPM.. if yes then your PIUSER needs j2ee admin authority.

if your server is not PI7.1 i.e. 2004s o 2004 then use SDM instead of JSPM

You are correct I ddnt have j2EE admin auth to deploy I assigned the same and its working now.
