Opening an iview using KM html

Hello All,

I have created an KM iview with a html link in it which should open a new iview in the same portal framework. Does anybody know how to do this. I can get it to open up the iview , but it opens in a new window, without the framework.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Nick,

I had the same issue. You need to create a quick link. This is the property on the iView, and you can type any text there. Then your url can be as follows:

http://SERVERNAME:PORT/irj/portal/AlexTest?&DynamicParameter=1468

I named the quick link AlexTest. DynamicParameter is something specific to our applications where I need to pass the value.

Hello Nick,

Please check that Launch in New Window Property of ur both the Iview is set to Display in Portal Content Area.
