Hi,

we are also facing similar problem .this is bug of db2 v9.1.Pls upgrade to db2 9.5 or apply FP5 of 9.1.

This will solve u r offline backup from DB13.

You can take offline backup from db2 command line

db2 BACKUP DATABASE <dbsid> TO E:\backup

Thanks

Hello,

Can you try to initialize the tape with blocksize 4096. The only fixed block sizes DB2 supports are 512, 1024, 2048, and 4096.

Hi Jun Jie,

Do you see any error in sm50 or sm21? Is there any SQL error code? Have you tried running the backup through DB2 command line or Control Center?

Just curious.. have you try to put buffersize 1024, as you init your tape with 1024 , to speed it put 2 buffer .
