How to update Alternative Unit of Measurment for 1000 items at a time.

if the conversion between base unit and alternative unit is always the same, then you can certainly use MM17 for table MARM.

Hai,

1.It is not possible in MM17 - Mass Maintenance ( Materials). But u can do this in MM17 only if u add the field MARA - BSTME in MM17 transaction. this u can do it in SM30 - Maintain table views for the table MASSFLDLST - click the maintian tab & add the field BSTME for the object type BUS1001 - table MARA.

2.You can do this by LSMW.

Hello, Prakash,

transaction MASS -> Object BUS1001"Material" -> table MARM "Units of Measure for Material", though it is usefull only for changes of conversion factors. Otherwise, it's time for LSMW/BatchInput/Catt, what ever you prefers.
