ECCS manual posting

We are having problems with manual postings in ECCS. The thing is that we have implemented a new field "personnel number" few years ago and we able to post MP in ECCS with the characteristic without any problem. Since July 08 when we have tried to post with multiple "personnel numbers" (i.e. different PN for each line item) the system has jumped automatically to the next line giving us misleading essage "Make an entry in all required fields". We haven't been able to post such a document.

Strangely we don't have any problems to post ECCS MP documents with on "personnel number" for all lines (then this characteristic is in the "Unique subassignments" tab in tr CX50).

Could you please advise, what could be the possible problem?

Hello Lucie,

One possibility could be those different personal numbers might be relating to different consolidation unit. Otherwise it could be programme error.

You might have to post a message on OSS, however take a look at SAP Note 216223 SAP CS: Various errors in posting transactions, which might help.

In either case, share your views when resolved!
