how to sell archived articles

Dear all,

The problem is as follows:

There are too many articles in SAP system, so need to archive some of them.But some archived articles are still on sale in stores, thus cannot be recognized by store POS. So how to sell these articles via POS?

Maybe can create some special dummy articles for them,but don't know how.

Has anybody encountered the same issue and pls kindly share your experience.Thanks a lot!

I think the only way would be creating new material master for the goods.

Thank you ,Smile, I think the way you suggested is a right one.

I have created a new article under the merchandise category which is used to record service income in store, such as trousers/dress alteration.

So far, as tested, it seems like an available method.
