Adding attributes to 0CALDAY

Hi all,

Is it possible to add attributes to 0CALDAY - we would like to model an attribute of holiday or a work day to specific dates and we would like not to use a custom infoobject since it's not included in our infocubes (and loading them from scratch is a problem).

Hi Tomer,

unfortunately not. There is no possibility to add attributes to time characteristics. If you are dealing with BI7.0 you might add a characteristic of type char to your cubes using the remodelling feature and post a H to it in case of a holiday and a W in case of a working day. To achieve this you might use the standard function module 'HOLIDAY_GET'.

If you are still on 3.X, well then there is no other way then reloading.

I am, but basically I would like to have a nav attribute on 0CALDAY.

You could try with a calculated key figure with exception aggregation for working days, but I can't test now.

At maximum detail it should evaluate to 0 for non working days allowing you to show that it's not a working day
