new payroll area

Hi all

while creating a payroll area ,,what are all the nodes and tables that need to be included.this is urgent bcoz i have to create a new payroll area ASAP.

Make sure you have the payroll calendar generated (table V_T549Q)

Hi , please follow the same steps as explained by our friend

GOTO Spro.

Personnel Management -> Personnel Administration -> Organizational Data -> Organizational Assignment.

Carry out three steps:

Create Payroll area (for text)

Create Payroll area

Check Default Payroll Area (maintain ABKRS feature just like your existing payroll areas.)

All necessary tables will be maintained if you follow customizing steps

Apart from the above said,

For every payroll area you must have control record too.

Because control record is heart of HR operations

you need to create period parameters, date modifiers, based on your requirement, generate pay periods and so on.

Nikki,

Pls follow the steps:

SPRO -> Payroll -> Payroll: <Your country>

-> Basic Settings -> Payroll Organization ->

Define Period Modifiers (only if existing donot meet your requirement)

Define Date Modifiers (I advise not to change this table)

Check Payroll Accounting Area

Generate Payroll Periods (do it for a long period of time)
