Changing TEXT for Accounting Document Number (FB09)???

Hi Experts,

I need to change the TEXT (Bseg- Sgtxt) for FB09. I have checked at my end but there in no BAPI available. Can anybody suggest me, if anything is availble (BAPI/Function Module) to do this task other then BDC. (COZ THIS IS THE FINAL SOLUATION) ??
