Change of BP Role (FS) vs Change of Account Group

Hi;

Can we create a business partner in a certain role and then change the role afterwards (same as in XD07)? Should it be done as follow: In transaction BUSE you group these roles and then in BUP2 you enter the business partner and in Role you select the new role?

try XK07. i think the rules that apply to SD account changes (e.g. can be upgraded but not downgraded if transactions already exist) apply also to MM.
