Plant :A plant is a place where either materials are produced or goods and services are provided. This is an Organizational unit within Logistics, maintined by Materials Management.
Loading pt : Place within a shipping point where goods are loaded. This is an Organizational unit within Logistics Execution, maintined mostly by SD.
Transportation planning pt : It organizes the responsibilities in a company according to, for instance, shipment type, mode of transport, or regional departments. Organizational unit in Logistics mostly maintined by SD.
Division : An organizational unit based on responsibility for sales or profits from saleable materials or services. Maintined by SD
Shipping pt :The shipping point is the part of the company responsible for the type of shipping, the necessary shipping materials and the means of transport. Possible shipping points could be the company mail depot or plant rail station. Organizational unit in Logistics Execution which is mostly maintined by SD.
Storage Loc : An organizational unit that allows the differentiation of material stocks within a plant. The storage location is hierarchically situated between the plant and the warehouse number. This Organisational Unit is maintined by SD/MM.

Plant----Org element of MM
Storage location---Created under plant so Org element of MM,if WM is also implemented then warehouse numbers are assigned to sloc.
division,shipping point---Org element of SD
loading point----Org element of SD
