Hi All...
Please clarify... whether we can create internal number ranges as alphanumerical.
system will support this r not??
If any possible way is availble ...pl let us know..
Dear,
whether we can create internal number ranges as alphanumerical - the answer is NO.
You cannot define INTERNAL number range as alphanumeric,
Since the Number be provided by the system automatically in serial order allotting the next available progressive number.
Even if you define Indicator for lexicographical material numbers by which you control the way numeric material numbers are stored in the database.
The number must be in numerical. If wish it to be a Alphanumeric - must be External.

Syed Hussain.

Hi,
We can give the internal no alpha numerical.
Give the no range as follows.
"00000000000000001 ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.
