Keypad in MII Login Page

Hello All,

I am working in version MII 12.0. My business requirement is to have a touch keypad for the user in the MII login page (http://Server name:port/XMII/Menu.jsp) as the user in the plant do not have a Keyboard and mouse.

I would like to know

1.) Which page needs to be customized..is it Menu.jsp in the below mentioned path

.....\JC00\j2ee\cluster\server0\apps\sap.com\xapps_xmiiear\servlet_jsp\XMII\root

?

2.) If not, then which file needs to be customized and where it is located?

3.) Has anybody in the group tried this before, what are the downside for this.

If you customize this in 11.5 keep in mind that in versions 12.0 and beyond you will need to modify the NetWeaver UME login screen.
