Dear Sir,

I want post mannual dep. when I post with t code ABMA following message show Manual depreciation not allowed with depreciation key ZS05 please help as soon as possible

Hi Pawan,

Only with a depreciation key MANU or one you created for manual posting you can create an extra depreciation posting.

An other option is to use ABAA - Unplanned Depreciation. In the most cases this is working with the existing depreciation key in your asset. One point is that you have to set this up and that the g/l accounts are assigned (it is possible to use diffent G/L accounts for this posting).

Perhaps it is set-up in your system.

When you make manual depreciation postings dependend from the depreciation key it is possible that calculation from the normal depreciation are going wrong for this/ next fiscal years.
