Hi everybody,

Can anybody let me know that any of the functional consultant has implemented the SAPB1 in the construction company.

I am doubtful for the implementation and the stock status for the different projects running in the company where i am implementing the SAPB1 .

In this company there are 25 projects running already and we have to maintain the stock status of the items at the site and even the stock whihc is consumed on the building for which the company has to bill to customer otherwise stock which is lying on the ground is just stock , that can't be billed.

For different projects we can open the same no. of warehouses. otherwise the warehouses keep on increasing and that will create a mees in the system for the user and even the system performances because i think there is limitation of the warehouses to open in the system.

Customer want the stock status of the project which is lying on the ground for the particular site and i have opened the common warehouse for one state which is having projects in itself. how to get the exact value based on project and warehouse parameter.

any idea or tips andtrick for implemeting the SAPB1 in the construction company.

Hi

There is a Construction Company in Chennai called as 'True Value Homes' [http://www.tvh.in/] who have implemented SAP B1.

For project management they used an addon called 'Icon' from 'Xenolith Technologies Pvt. Ltd'. You can check the following link for the addon

You can contact SAP Teritory Manager in your locality to identify the partner who had done this implementation, so that you can discuss with the Partner Directly regarding the implementation.
