Hi Gurus,
Thanks in advance...
I have a plan on Material and Plant level in a planning cube and I have actuals on Material plant and storage location level in actual cube I want to have a plan actual comparison in a query which has storage location how you will design that ...?
Thanks,
Venkat
Hi Venkat,
You can create a multiprovider on plan and actual cube. Then You can create query on this multiprovider, even in query you can restrict Storage location with both # and some value.

Please follow the following steps:
1. Schedule global planning sequences in ABAP Editor with
the UPC_BUNDLE_EXECUTE program
2. Select an existing planning sequence; local and global
sequences are listed together in alphabetical order
3. To run a particular global planning sequence, use variants
for the UPC_BUNDLE_EXECUTE program
4. To schedule the run, choose Program u2192 Execute in
Background and select an option:
a. Specified Date/Time
b. After job
c. After event
d. To define a job to run the defined variant, choose
System u2192 Services u2192 Jobs u2192 Define Job
5. To access log information via planning workbench (BPS0), choose Planning u2192 Planning Sequences u2192 Tools u2192 Logs
6. To include the job to run the global planning sequence in a process chain via BW u2192 Administration u2192 Process Chains
Please award points if it helps.

Plan Cube: Material, Plant
Actual Cube: Material, Plant, Storage Location
If storage location is to be there in the query, Keep it in free characteristic, so when we run the query, will see both actual and plan. When we drilldown on storage location, we will see actuals corresponding to each storage location and plan corresponding to # storage location.
Or restrict the plan keyfigure to always storage location as # and keep the storage location in rows.
I guess this is just a report not input enabled query.

Hi Venkat,
You can restrict storage location in your query filter with # (not present in one cube -so the value wld be as good as #) and another values present in another cube.
