how to customize ess screens using nwdi

Hi,

I configured NWDI, created Track. I got all DC's in nwds.

I created a proj and opend it through WebDynpro. Each proj having min of 3-5 Components.

I hav seen all the component views. When i execute an application the output what i m gatting is different from what i hav seen views of different components

I didnt find frm wer this view is coming.

for eg, here i opened proj EPD_ESSDev_D_essin_addrsap.com

this proj is having below components

CcPerAddressIN

FcPerAddressIN

VcPerAddressINDetail

VcPerAddressINOverview

VcPerAddressINReview

Kindly let me know how to customize this?

Hi Venkat ,

That application is based upon floor plan framework procedure.

CcPerAddressIN -> this component will have controller functionality.In this we will write methods to implement roadmap of application.

FcPerAddressIN -> this component content contains business logic ( data comes from backend)

below are components are visual components which consists of views whichwe can see in output

VcPerAddressINDetail

VcPerAddressINOverview

VcPerAddressINReview

You can see all the views which are designed in VC in your output but with roadmap structure.

Do Modifications after importing this dc into your local development.

Hello Koti Reddy,

Thanks for ur immediate response,

Actually i m new to this NWDI. Now i m having two nodes Local DC's.

1. ESSDev_dev[0]

2. Local Development

under the node ESSDev_dev[0], i m having the proj ess/in/add(sap.com)

to modify this v need to place it under Local Development.

How to place this under local development, can u guide me

Right click the project under ur track( not local development) in inactive workspace tab and create a new development project by rightclicking that dc in inactive space.

check nwdi documentation or links by searching in sdn.you can see lot of threads related to that

here i done, i created a proj by select dc from inactive dc's.

but this is importing only under the track name of ESSDev_dev[0] local dc's not under local development.

then how to import it into local development

not under local development foder.......what you did is correct upto now.

now click on webdynpro view of your nwdi..........and try to do modifcation

I got the thing under WebDynpro...Then only i can able to see the above (in first thred) components under my proj...

Here i m asking how to find out the views frm wer the outpout is coming....
