Name transfer in directory.Employee transfer from Germany/ismaning to Germany\Cologne with same phone number.I did in personnel actions but facing problem.

Please let me know the process.

I am trying to change the personnel area.It is giving me error "assigned to default position" and showing me previous personnel area instead of new personnel area.

check

position number is assigned to proper root org unit or not

and also check the NUMKR feature

It is assigned to Europe Org unit.That is correct.
