serial number addition

hi,

while creating material, serial number profile was not made active. Then intial stock was uploaded using mvt type 561. now while inwarding material in stores in MIGO, it was noted that the material should be serialized.

how to add serial number profile to the material, considering already stocks are there in inventory.

Hi,

If the material is already in the stock you cann't serialize that material.

So first reverse the material document which is created in 561 mvt type to remove the stocks.

Activate the Serial no profile in Material master -Plant data/storage view for that material.

Then again upload the stock in 561 mvt type system will ask to you to enter the Serial number
