Hi All,

From last few days in DB13 dbcheck is showing the following warning regarding tablespace full, aur tablespaces have already been set as "AUTOEXTEND". We have few options to overcome this problem.

1) Increase the maxsize of autoextend

2) Adding a datafile to the particular TS.

Pls suggest

pls find the details of dbcheck log-:

Hi All,

To add one more thing currently all the datafiles in for PSXXX tablespace are in AUTOEXTEND MODE and parameter "INCREMENT_BY" has been defined as "2560".

Do we need to increase this value or we can directly go for adding a new datafile to this TS.There is enough disk space available in the disk approx 45.52 GB is free.

Regards,

Prashant.

Thanks Ashok,

Yes you are right disk space is also one issue ....currently we have 45.52 GB of free space do we need to go for disk space increment.

Do u think these warnings may affect/or affecting the system performance?

Hi Ashok,

Thanks one more thing currently one of our app server is showing high dialog response time of around 12456 but CPU % Idle is showing 97% and system is very slow.

What could be the reason behind this?

I have already checked the network rate its fine plus no of users logined are also very less and there is no ZREPORT running in background...but in SM50 many work processes are showing 5-6 errors with red mark......pls suggest

Hi Prashant,

Please check the buffer status in that application server (st02) and check if dumps are generated.

Check for database buffering in t-code st04 in your database server.

5-6 errors with red mark is showing because that may times the dialog sessaion terminated because of error.

Hi Ashok,

In ST02 for many parameters like Program buffer , CUA and export/import buffer swaps values are coming on RED mark......any comments on that? Pls suggest.

Can it affect the system performance?
