SAP XI + EP + MI on a single WAS 6.40 instance

Is it possible to run XI 3.0, EP 6.0 and MI 2.5 on a single WAS 6.40 instance?

Hello Marek,

EP 6.0 and MI2.5 is possible. In this combination you also have the advantage that the MI user can sync to Server with his portal-password. We are running MI+Portal together on our productive systems.

But i don't know if you can also run XI 3.0 on this system.When you read Netweaver 2004s presentations a single-host installation should be possible.

it's possible as long as your hardware has the capabilities

to support all the operations without performance problem.

one advantage is the ease of maintenance. for production

use however, you should consider some fail-safe scenarios

as well. for test or demo systems, this is usually the

case.
