Delivery - New Movement Type

Can anyone advise what's the possible defined range for new customised movement types to be used in delivery? I tried using 9, X, Y, Z but system still prompt error

IF U WANT TO CREATE A NEW MOVEMENT TYPE FROM EXISTING EX 101

PLZ INPUT 101 AS FROMIN FIRST UNDER

THAT U INPUT WHAT EVER U WANT TO GIVE THE NAME LIKE

Z01 IN THE TO U CAN DO COPYING AND REST OF THE ACTIVITES

THEN SYSTEM WILL ALLOW U TO MAKE NEW MOVEMENT TYPES.

Hi Lakshmipathi,

I tried copying existing movement types to '9xx', 'Xxx', 'Yxx', 'Zxx'. But system is saying they are not in the defined number range. Can u advise what should the correct prefix for customised movement types?

Dear Peter

As you would be aware, standard movement types starts from 101 and ends with 678. So you can rename a new movement type from 700.

As I already said, go to OMJJ, click on Movement Type, input the standard movement type which you want to copy and execute. A screen will appear where press F3. Now block the movement type and click on Copy As or press F6 and rename the movement type as you wish.

For information, you can create new movement types in OMJJ with 3 numeric characters by copying the standards and the same can be assigned to your schedule line category in VOV6.
