Multiprovider issue

Team,

here is my sceanrio

I have a cube C1 with char1, char2,char3, kf1,kf2. and

a second cube C2 with char4, char5,char2,char3,kf3,kf5.

and a multicube with C1 and C2.

I should be able to have a report with char1,char2,char4,char5,kf1,kf3,kf5 of the Multoprovider rt?

For some kind of odd reason...none of my C1 data shows up on the report.

No I do not have any infoprovider restriction on the query.

Is there any special design considerations I missed while creating the Multicube?I think I used C2 as a template for the multicube.

Or should I have gone for an Infoset instead of an Multicube.?

what is that I'm doing wrong?

Thanks for your time

Travis

Hi,

For creating a multicube you should have atleast one primary key in common.

so, check it out first and then try to report on it.

My guess is that you have a restriction on either Char 4 or 5. Since they do not exist in the Cube 1, any restriction other than # will drop the data from the cube.

If you want the restriction, try creating a local restricted key figure with the restriction in it, that way your other key figures are not affected.
