Multi-page TIFF viewing issue

Hi,

We had migrated iXos-based multi-page TIFF images in as-is format. The migrated image component and file size matches with iXos.We have installed ECL viewer and tried to view the image. The issue surface when the viewer queries the image but gets a prompt for "Save as" dialog box instead of displaying the image right in itself. The downloaded image then gets displayed in Microsoft Image viewer with only one page a a time. We have to do page-up and page-down on the ECL viewer which fetches individual image every time which is not a likable solution. Any idea on how to open up multi-page TIFF images right onto ECL viewer from IBM Common store?

thanks in advance for your help.

Anand

Is this in archivelink or DMS? You have to configure the actual viewer for the particular format you intend using.

DMS is configured in TCODE DC30

Archivelink is configured in OAA3

thanks for the quick response. We are using archivelink/OAA3. We have maintained Standard Communication in OAA3 for document class TIF(under Display Document funciton). Do we need something else? The issue is that the ECL viewer start up well but does not display the image in it, but instead the image gets downloaded to the file on PC and kicks off Microsoft Image viewer that displays only one page at a time. The goal is to open up the TIF image/s in the ECL viewer and have ability to swap the pages using page-up/down button. recommendations?

Have you checked whether the ECL viewer is selected in OAG4

ECL viewer was selected in OAG3 but in OAA3 one setting showed TABLE which was the problem. Once we replaced that with Standard communication, the ECL viewer started showing image in itself. thanks for your postings.

What scenario is this ? Late archiving or early archiving?

Thanks!
