Install HR RTA in system without SAP HR installed

Hello experts,

We are implementing SAP GRC ERM ( Role Expert ) in ECC, SRM, BI, PLM, and Solution Manager. SAP informed us that the ability to generate derived roles requires that the HR RTA be installed on the relevant system - currently, the HR RTA is only installed on ECC because ECC is the only system with SAP HR. Is it possible for us to install the HR RTA on a system without SAP HR (e.g. SRM, BI, PLM, SolMan) in order to enable derived role functionality?

It is possible to install the HR RTA on a non-HR system.

Make sure that you install the Non-HR RTA first followed by the HR one and then patch them up to the latest versions.
