Experts,
Do you know if there is a corresponding characteristic for the Material Group (MAGRV) in BW 3.5 or will I need to create my own? Field MAGRV, not MATKL. Thank you in advance.

Yes there is, it is 0MATL_GROUP and should already be part of 0MATERIAL as an attribute.
If it isn't in your system yet, install it from Business Content (don't create it).
