Message - Express document "update terminated"

Hi All,

User is getting the message as --- Express document "update was terminated" .However the message not interrupted to work . Could you please tell me how to avoid the message , why it occurs and what is the purpose of the message .

Hai,

1.Use Tcode SM13 or ST22 to analyse this dump error.

2.Click the line which is in red color to analyse this problem.

3.This problem might be because of no range problem or changes in the print out put program. Check with ABAPer to solve this.

4.Even if u have activated any BADI enhancement, if any distirbances in this program leads to "Update terminated".

Hi,

Go to SM13 and here enter the date on which message has occurred and Execute.

Now double click on the line or T. Code in which this update terminate message is coming and then double click on the RED message statement with Error.

A pop-up appears, here click on the "ABAP Editor (F5)" and it will place cursor directly on the program line due to which error is coming.

If you are able to do this then OK otherwise take help of ABAPer to resolve this.

If I delete the update records , will it make any problem to system.

NO, by deleting update records will not solve the problem.

You have to resolve it permanently by finding the cause of it as per the method suggested in previous post.
