Mapping of XML/SOAP document using XIF Adapter

Hello,

Can anybody please send me documents/links to the guides where i can find information on mapping XML documents using XIF Adapter? I basically need to do XIF inbound interface using XML/SOAP. And we need to use XIF because we don't have XI in our landscape.

I tried to search for this information on SDN but didn't find anything relevant. I have seen posts about IDoc/XIF discussions using LSMW but none on XML/SOAP. I would appreciate if you can at least give me a basic idea on how to do the mapping of XML/SOAP using XIF Adapter.

Also, i have seen couple of discussions about some XIF Configuration Guide. I tried to check it on SAP Marketplace but couldn't find any such thing. I would really appreciate if anybody can please forward it to my e-mail address (g_srinivas@hotmail.com).
