Hi

We have Crystal Reports 10 currently in our organization and we want to know if it is compatible with SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008?

Does anybody have any idea on this? Any help as in white paper, links etc is appreciated.

Thanks.

The Platforms text files are mostly to show you what has been tested and confirmed to work. It also means if there are any issues we have an escalation path to the developers to resolve the issue.

In most cases this should work, although as noted it's not officially supported. Only issues I've run into on SQL 2005 is database and table permissions. MS changed the way tables are accessed and strengthened the permissions. You simply need to set security using MS or Enterprise enabled on the MS Server and then it usually works.

For SQL 2008 I have not tested this at all.

CR 10 is past it's end of life so no option to escalate to R&D to get any issues resolved.

When i tried to open the link, I am getting a sign-on dialog box and when I enter my forum credentials, I am not able to login. Is the credentials different?

I tried both links posted and both are asking for the sign-on and both failed for my forum credentials.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.
