Number ranges for BP's

Hi Guys

The scenario is as follows. We create CRM BP's in our ICWC, once you save it replicates to CRM and ISU, BUT not to SD

Is it possible to have 1 number range for all the environments?

Is there any impact in having 1 number range?

Last question - If you create in Webclient, and it replicates to CRM and ISU, which of these 2 should be your master client??

Hi,

While defing number ranges for BP in CRM and R/3 do one thing both number ranges should be of Same range but ..if you are going to create Internal no range in R/3 then creat external no range in CRM ..vise versa in you are going to crate internal no range in CRM then creat external no range in R/3...with proer grouping after that using PIDE T-code in R/3 you can start replacating data to CRM...through inital download...for ICWC it will work fine if all the Back end things had been done fine....

Hi Monoj,

To flow the BP you need to have the same Number Range in CRM and SD.

You need to have one Number Range, which you need to maintain in CRM, IS-U and SD ( Account Group ). But you need check out with the Functional Consultant as to how you need to setup this number range and how to align it with the other Systems. This will have a more of Business Impact and will be driven by business need.
