Random Passwords

Hi all,

I need to change the random password function in portal.

I need to generate passwords with 8 characters but the standard function generates with 14 characters.

I've already changed the password policy to minimum and maximum of 8 characters in password, but the system still generates wrong passwords (14 characters).

I need to generate a password with 8 characters, that ones 5 numbers and 3 lower case letters.

How can I change this? Anyone could help me?

You need to customize your UME security Policy.

Go the below link and follow the SAP recommendations.

Here you can chnge the exiting config of ume.logon.security_policy.password_min_length.
