Hi,
Can anyone please explain me the difference between sending a SOAP message directly to Integration Engine and sending to Adapter Engine.
Thanks,
RPN
Hi,
SOAP, IDOC, HTTP sender channel adapters are directly reach to integration server after that integration engine no need adapter engine. Meanwhile those adapter don't have any configuration settings in adapter level that why no need to take sender channels and sender agreement also.
*SOAP, IDOC, HTTP adapters are work on Java stack that why it will hit directly with integration engine.*
Remaining adapter like FILE, RFC etc adapter first reach to adapter engine after that reaches to integration engine.
*FILE, RFC etc adapters are work on ABAP stack that why it will hit directly with integration engine.*
I hope now clear
