Partner Profile creation

Former Member

Hi

I have an idoc-xi-file scenario. For this I want to create partner profile(of partner type LS) in ECC system using we20.

When I entered partner no. as DX1CLNT100 and saved (after filling all the information) it is throwing the error saying

"The partner number 'DX1CLNT100' does not exist for the partner type LS".

If it won't exist how to make it available ??

thanks

kumar

Hi palnati kumar ,

step0:

create 2 logical sysrem in bd54

2nd is Designation Logical system

step2:

create a Port in we21 specify the Name as Designation Logical System & Give the RFC Designation name as given in SM59

step3:

goto bd64 Distribution Model

switch to Edit

create a new model view by clicking create model view button

step4:

click Add message type & add the Message type which IDoc you need to send

step5:

Goto toolbar->Environment->Generate Partner Profile

specify the Model View&Designation Logical System(Partner System)

Yes Palnit,

first u have to create a entry in Logical system in BD54.

use the same in WE20 as partner number.

then u can assign inbound and outbound parameters.

Hi,

You are creating partner type is LS, so this partner number should be in logical system table (v_tbdls). So please create logical system through BD54 after that create partner profile, it will work without error. Configure outbound messages according to your requirement.
