SAP xMII Workbench loading Problem

Hi Experts

Recently we have installed the SAP MII 12.0 . When I am trying to load SAP xMII Workbench from the server , its giving an error saying " Unable to launch the application ".

Deatiled error says that " Unable to load the resource (Lighthammer.jar)".

But the same workbench is opening from other city's location.

I tried many things like reinstallation of Java , disabling firewall etc ., but still wondering where is the problem.

Can anyone let me where is the possible bug ?

Hi,

Then we go ahead with the following checklist.

• Check whether the URL is launching from those location.

• If URL itself not launching from those locations then you need to check the firewall settings,

• If URL is launching and you are able to get through xMII menu screen then surely u can able to access work bench iff java is installed in those locations.

• Else check the admin rights, may be because of these rights, you are unable to launch xMII Work bench screen.

You are trying to launch xMII work bench from some other location right.

Check whether Java is installed in those locations.

ya as i told Java 1.6 is installed.

Could be some firewall issues in that location????

Otherwise try the following:

Try clearing the Java cache via the Java Control Panel (or the Java Webstart as it was previously known till the 1.4... versions).

Secondly on the Java control panel check the Network Settings , I think the "Use Browser Settings" radio needs to be checked.

I have a small clarification.

• Is the SAP xMII work bench is not launching in the server itself?

• SAP xMII work bench is not launching from outside the server?.

Java 6 version is okie.(i believe JRE is also installed).

SAP Workbench is launching from server and other locations too but only in a particular loction its giving problem .

Even from my USerid and password its working in other loct but only here its not working with same Authentication details. So its not Authorization related issue also.

Kindly suggest about the possible reason for this.

Hi,

Which version of java you installed.

You have to install Jdk 1.5 version and above.
