Hello,

I transfer with ABUM a old asset to a new class of asset.

Ok. No ploblems.

But in the assets who have a negative posting the movement 300 in ABUM is correct meanwhile in report of Balance List > Asset Balances by Class returns a depreciation calculation and returns a net book value equal to zero and not the corresponding below to zero.

What can i do?

Thanks.

Hi,

- what is the net book value rule of the affected depreciation area?

- what is the setting in the depreciation key concerning depreciation below zero?

- any derived area defined in your CoD which could be responsible for cutting back a depreciation value?

Markus

Hello,

I transfer with ABUM a old asset to a new class of asset.

The situation date 31.12.2008 in report Balance List: Old asset.

Adquis.val Accum.dep. Book val.

1,700.00- 880.27 819.73-

After ABUM

The situation date 31.12.2008 in same report: New asset.

Adquis.val Accum.dep. Book val.

1,700.00- 1,700.00 0

In your second qüestion:

The depretiation key in the asset is 2000 Decli. bal. 20%

We only have an area defined (01).

Thanks.

Hi Markus,

Depreciation key are the same in old and new asset.

I solved the issue.

Yes. Into masted data new asset Deprec. areas.

Table ANLB the field XNEGA 'Indicator: Negative values allowed' it isn't correctly informed in the new asset.

a. AS02 modify new asset indicator negative value allowed.

b. AB08 delete translation movement old asset.

c. ABUM Make the translate movement again.

Now the asset balance list are ok.

Thanks.

Best regards.
