Profit Centres

My client wants hierarchical profit / cost centers. They want sub cost centers. I know that is not possible in generic B.

Can anyone help.

Hi,

In cluster A, there is also no functionality of cost center hierarchy.

I suggest to create a UDF with value 2 values i.e. sub profit center or not, it means the UDF name is U_SubPC and its value is Y or N.

In the distribution rule and the table of profit center and distribution rule, you could create a UDF using SDK code to reflect the sub profit center.

For a work around, you can set up couple of warehouses as cost centers for your client. It is not ideal but better than nothing when your client insists.
