How do Adapter Engina and Integration Server communicate

Hi Experts,

can you please let me know how Adapter Engine and Integration Server communicate?

I would like to know via which port/url the adapter engine sends a message to the Integration Server...

Can you also please tell me with wich transaction I can find out this!

Goal of all this ist, to capture a message that is send from the adapter engine to the integartion server...

Please check OSS note 804124. Sometimes notes provide more information than standard documentation:-). Communication between Integration server and Adapter Engine is through HTTP and depending on the direction of the messages it is either the HTTP port of the Java server or the ABAP server. They are resolved through exchange profile & SLD. Hope this helps.
