direct and indirect wagetype evaluation

could u explain me what is direct evaluation and indirect evaluation of wagetypes?

Hi Raj,

An indirect evaluation

This means that you accept the default amount set for the wage element in Customizing.

A direct evaluation

This means that you manually enter an amount that applies only in the current infotype record.

Direct Evaluation: Here the valuation of the wage type you are doing direectly

For Example : in Infotype 0008 1BAS basic wage type we need to enter the number into the amount field manually that is direct valuation.

Indirect Valuation When you enter the basic amount infront of the basic wage type automatically HRA is calculated based on the percentage given by us in IMG. This is called as indirect evaluation.

here caluclaton is done base on the output of other wage type.
