After Restart Dispatcher is not starting..can you please suggest me how to solve this problem

Dear guys,

Said problem comes when DB is stammered. Simply go to BRtools\restore and recovery\ whole database reset. This will definitely solve this issue. Reply if not successful.

Hi ,

Has this problem been resolved ? I have the same problem and want to know how to fix

it. The application server WP's don't and than go into status ended with the same dump

message that you have.

Seems like your DB failed to restart.... check your DB status make sure that is up and open.. then try starting the system again.

Also read Note 395514 - ora-1034 d. R/3 System start or d. start w/ R3trans

I tried to restart database but when i try to log in,

I am getting following errors:

ORA-01034: ORACLE not available

ORA-27101: shared memory realm does not exist

Hello,

As per the logs it seems that there is a problem with "shared memory"

Can you please check your memory parameter settings..as well as virtual memory too.

Was it a windows machine..?

was it working fine previously..?

Have you done any changes in memory parameters...?

Please let me know the server details as well as memory parameters details...

Hi ravi,

yes, its is windows sever 2003 and i did not make any changes to memory parameters.And it was working fine before restart.

Also now i am able to start the database manually.But still Dispatcher+work process stop after some time.

Good if you start your DB. Try this , after you trying start SAP in SAP MMC, and DISP+WORK stops try to in

START>RUN>CMD -->, execute "R3trans -d"

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME>R3trans -d

press enter,after find the "trans.log" in (C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME) on other where you execute this.

Also after your DB are up now, try to check the same dev_w0 file, and post new lines from it. Regards.

Hi, are you execute this "r3trans -d" under SIDADM user, or under other user? (execute it under SIDADM). Also try to start sap under same SIDADM user ... Check other environment variables, ->Note 556232 - Environment settings for R/3/Oracle on Windows.
