Hi,

During GR process,i got error message as "posting only possible in periods 2008/09 & 2008/08 in company code.I already close the period upto sep 2008 using MMPV.But while maintaining controlling area use fiscal variant as "V3" instead of "K4",unable to change to K4,how can i rectify the problem..

Hi,

First go to OBY6 and maintain Fiscal Year Variant as K4 for your Company Code and then go to OKKP and maintain K4 for Controlling Area.

Hello,

As you have closed the period upto september, the posting period should be 09/2008 in the system. The system may not allow you to change the fiscal year variant to V3 from K4.

If you use K4, the current posting period should be 09/2008, but in case of V3, the posting period should be 06/2008.

So, when you change from K4 to V3, all the periods upto 09/2008 is closed. It will cause proble in posting.

Prase
