LSMW-Material Load

Hi,

I am using the direct input method to load the materials.

I had loaded the materials for general data. But when i check in mm02 i find that materials are created only for sales and purchasing views. Even though i didnt select particularly any views while loading, the materials were created automatically for the sales and purchasing views.

Please let me the reason of this.

May be while uploading data using LSMW you might have mentioned even the Plant field due to which the views might have got created...

Hi ,

When you create a material, there are 3 basic views you need so satisfy

1. Basic Data

2. Plant data

3. Pur Org Data

These sit in MARA, MARC and MARD respectively. For it to be created completely, you need to MATNR (Material Number),

WERKS (Plant), LGORT (Storage Location).
