Foreign currency valuation issue

I hope someone could send me a advice on the foreign currency vcaluation issue with me-

Issue- When ran transaction FAGL_FC_VAL, we encounter error saying -'Maintain conversion factors for MYR/EUR(Currency type ZREV)'

Background-

1.Objective is the maintenance of conversion rate between MYR and EUR.

2. In OB07, USD is made the reference currency against Exchange rate type ZREV.

3. Hence conversion is triangulated between MYR, EUR and USD.

MYR to USD

&

EUR to USD are maintained in OB08.

4.The rates as on 30/06/2008 are accordingly maintained.

Now my question is-Why is the error popping as -'''Maintain conversion factors for MYR/EUR(Currency type ZREV)''.

Yes, I did not maintain translation ration between MYR & EUR which is also required.Now this issue is resolved.

maintain exchange rates for MYR to EUR in OB08

Thanks for the reply but if you see my issue description, I have written that USD is the base/referral currency and this is maintained in OB07.

there is a currency conversion triangulation.

so both the participating currencies have to be converted through referral currency being USD.

Hi

It seems to following rates are maintained in your system

MYR to USD and EUR to USD.

Now you want MYR / EUR to be calculated by the system automatically. In this system needs conversion factor i.e. how many MYR = how many EUR. You need to maintain this in

SAP netwaever-General Settings-currencies-Define translation ratio for currency transalation

The ratio is maintained as 1:1
