how can i get current system version?

i want to print system version in a reprort

i.e weateher its 4.6c or 4.7ee or ECC6

where this data stored ? in which table?

is there any system field ?

system - > status -> SAP system Data

Table : CVERS_TXT Filed : STEXT

LANGU = 'EN'

Check table CVERS or system field SAPRL.

system version is stored in the table CVERS_TXT.

it is actually the version of the Basis / ABAP Release, which is not the same as the core and will lead to misunderstandings. All versions you can get from table CVERS, for the core the key is SAP_APPL
