hi there is no such material type for by product
u have to assume ur by [product as finished FERT or semifinished goods
or u can create ur own

Hi,
Generally for By-products, material type HALB is used. Else take a copy of this.
And for Consumables, Oils & Fuels, it totally depends upon your requirement. If these materials are to be non-stock then use NLAG and if these are non-valuated then use UNBW. Else you can take copy of these material types.
And if you want to maintain stock and value both for the Consumable materials then use ROH or copy of it.

by product is also one kind of material, so decide which type of matl can be created, create under that matl type & use it. there is no by product matl type.
