All,
I am experiencing problems with the analyser on a 3.5 system. I can log on to BW Easy Acces, but cannot connect through the Analyzer on the same server. When tr. RRMX is entered or directly from start menu.
I receive the following error:

Thanks in advance.
By changing the services file the problem was solved.
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\services.

Xin,
Path : C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Open services file with Microsoft Notepad and include your ports and protocols. They should be known in the services file. It depends on the systems and environment you are working on.
1st - tcp and udp ports.
2st - insert your systems including ports
i.e.
sapms for sap message server and port 3600/tcp
will be
sapms 3600/tcp <at end of file>
Please also refer to a basis forum.
They might be able to give you more information and more specific changes.
As you may understand, I can not give you specific information about my client or environment.
